Update from Friends of the Neonatal Unit

Women Connect supports Friends of the Neonatal Unit as our designated charity.  While we’re living in this online world, 100% of the fees collected from guests and visitors attending our virtual events are donated to the charity. We also support it by taking part in events and promoting their fundraisers and other events through our newletter and social media platforms.

Lots happening there are the moment, for one thing as part of The Archie Foundation, it is now sporting a brand new logo as part of its latest rebranding.

The rebrand marks The Archie Foundation’s 21st anniversary. The Archie we know and love is still there, but he’s changed slightly and, in recognition of Friends of Neonatal Unit, his toy rabbit has been replaced by Neo, the giraffe mascot of the unit.

Making the most of summer, the Archie Family has launched its Picnic in the Park Appeal. They’re asking people to plan a summer picnic for their own family and friends to raise money to help children and their families across Aberdeen’s Neonatal Unit, Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, Tayside Children’s Hospital, Highland Children’s Unit, Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin, and the Grampian Child Bereavement Network.
