Mental health has never been so important…

As we battle through 2020, spending a lot of time in survival mode, wellbeing and looking after our mental health has never been so important. Nicola Currie, business development executive at XIC discusses mental health and the facilities available to the public.

“According to statistics, one in four Scots will experience mental ill-health at some point in their lives.

The stats say one in four Scots will experience mental ill-health at some point. To put it into perspective, that’s a staggering 10 of our 40 members at Women Connect. So, support and knowing where to find it  is ESSENTIAL. Beyond essential, actually, if there was a word for that.

Thankfully, we’ve had an organisation flying that flag in Aberdeen since 1950, would you Mental Health Aberdeen (MHA) is a local charity that offers vital counselling and information to those who are struggling – but only if they know about it.

What better way to raise awareness and emphasise that it’s okay not to be okay than sticking MHA’s logo on the one thing everyone wants right now?  Yep, you guessed it – our branded face coverings.

The MHA SQUAD Snood has landed at XIC!

Wearing a MHA snood will both raise awareness and raise money for a fantastic charity. Did you know that £2 of every snood purchased goes right back into the cause, helping to do more great work in your city. It’s a win-win: https://bit.ly/SQUADMH

Five things you need to know about MHA:
